Victor Mannion O’Connell

Born in Britain and educated at Oxford University, the author studied philosophy and anthropology and earned a doctorate. He represented many Canadian Indian chiefs in their London constitutional campaign in 1981/82. In Canada, he designed and directed a University program for the development of the Indian, Inuit and Métis nations. Earlier he was involved in education for the Amerindian tribes of Guyana, South America.
